Do you ever think about the fact that the US has created and legitimized a system of institutionalized inequality by funding schools through property taxes? That basically a child’s education is only as good as the value of the property in their neighborhood. Funny how education is so often viewed as an equalizing factor when there is nothing equal about it.
School vouchers are a solution to this problem. But school vouchers deeply threaten the position of teachers’ unions and so are viewed as a “right wing” idea.
That makes sense since teachers unions will protect even the worst levels of incompetence or abuse, as Project Veritas proved
It blows my mind that you guys arent even free to choose their own kid’s schools
My family in a story or something may have committed zip code fraud to get one of my brothers into the neighboring 4 star school instead of their own 2 star school.
Which by the way is crazy illegal and should never be done in real life without fines and prison time.
I’m not positive on if it’s a felony or not.
It counts as a form of mail fraud, so yeah, federal felony.
